Kate Phillips Interviewed at SHINE

In May of 2009, hundreds of entrepreneurs gathered at the Fremont Studios for SHINE, an event sponsored by Biznik. With a team of 12 cameramen and 36 interviewers (including me), we interviewed 250 entrepreneurs about their businesses.

What do they do and why do they do it?

What inspires them to work long hours with little support and no guarantee of success?

Excerpts of the resulting interviews and other footage are being edited into a documentary called SHINE (a big film about small business).
