Yes, bartering is alive and well in some circles! It can be a creative way to get what you want, without allowing a lack of money get in your way. (Though I realize it can be a tad annoying if you really just want to SELL something!)

I think bartering is dying out a bit as the economy improves. However, it will never go out of style with some cultures, and perhaps not on Craigslist, either. Check out Bizx at https://www.bizx.com/ for an official/legit approach to bartering for business people.

I’m operating within the United States but am curious do any businesses actually operate this way trading items for other items instead of someone just paying money for something the business has for sale?
