I’m sharing my intention-setting process with you.

This page was updated December 21, 2021.

Out with the Old, In with the New!

I LOVE harnessing the New Year energy to reflect on the previous year, set new goals and move powerfully into the future.

And I am realizing that I have never needed this process MORE than now, in this space between 2021 and 2022!

If you are ready to create a new vision, new goals, new energy and new results, then this intention-setting process is for you, too.

One of my most treasured traditions…

I have set New Year intentions for nearly 20 years. It offers me a “clean slate” for creating and provides clarity and momentum. It allows me to celebrate my wins, recognize what I’ve learned, and consciously course-correct.

I sequester myself away with a journal, pens, a warm beverage and a generous dose of time. I take breaks to walk, contemplate, and feel what there is to feel about the past year and the one to come. I write about the moments I want to remember, contemplate and dream/

I invite you to use my Intention-Setting Guide to create your OWN process 🙂 It is my gift to you!

How to Use this Guide

For best results: Get out of your house and leave your daily routine, if possible. Go somewhere beautiful where you can have uninterrupted time. Shut down ALL distractions (No smart phone notifications, and you don’t need the internet for the DIY intention-setting!)

You’ll notice the first 5 pages are reflection pages to help you complete last year (or last quarter). The remaining pages focus on helping you set goals and intentions in every area of your life.

It was originally structured as a “morning” and “afternoon” process (reflection in the morning, intention-setting in the afternoon) but of course, do it however it works for you.

I recommend setting aside at least two or three hours. It can even be done over consecutive days. More time will allow you to reflect and create without feeling rushed. And for best results… revisit quarterly and use the “proactive gratitude” affirmations daily!

Create a future than inspires you

Whether you are reading this in January, February, or July… it’s never too late to set intentions and start afresh. (And I’d LOVE to hear what you got out of the process!)
